Udupi: Shaurya Jagarana Yathra – Sharan Pumpwell prohibited

Udupi, Oct 10: VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell was prohibited from entering the district for the Hindu Samajotsava programme that is being held on Tuesday afternoon at MGM stadium on Manipal road.

The Shaurya chariot procession entered Udupi from Mangaluru. However, Sharan Pumpwell was restricted by the police on the border for violating the bail rule.

A suo moto case was filed on Sharan Pumpwell earlier for an inciting speech he had made. At present he is on conditional bail. He is being sent back to Mangaluru.
