Udupi, Oct 10: The new parking and roofing facility for Patrika Bhavansponsored by former minister Pramod Madhwaraj on the eve of silver jubilee of Udupi district Working Journalists Association was inaugurated by him today. It was followed by a discussion programme with the former minister.
President of the sangha, Rajesh Shetty Alevoor presided over the programme. Solidarity Youth movement district president Nabil Gujjarabettu who donated the material for the Patrika Bhavan was felicitated.
Convener of the silver jubilee festival committee of the sangha Mohammed Sharif and Patrika Bhavan convener Ajith Aradi were on the dais.
Chief secretary of the sangha Nazir Polya welcomed. Treasurer Umesh Marpalli proposed the vote of thanks. Journalist Prakash Suvarna compered the programme.
