Udupi: Anchored boat drowns at Malpe port

Udupi, Oct 13: A boat that was anchored at Baputhotat near Malpe fishing port drowned a week ago.

It is said that the boat got drowned due to heavy winds and pressure of water.

The boat was owned by Mahabala Kunder of Kalmady.

The loss is estimated to be several lac rupees.
