Mangalore: Four Vehicles Damaged in Serial Accident

Mangalore, Aug 23:
A case of a serial accident involving a bus, rickshaw, a Maruthi Zen car and a 407 tempo took place in Kavoor here on Tuesday August 23 at around 9.30 am.

It is learnt that while overtaking other vehicles, a city bus lost control of the bus while negotiating with vehicles coming from opposite direction. As a result they hit one another, however, only the bus driver was injured in the accident while all the vehicles involved were damaged.

Traffic was disrupted for about an hour as the incident took place on the busy national highway 66. Later police came to the spot and made arrangements to move the damaged vehicles aside.

Kavoor police have registered a case.
