Mangaluru, Nov 11: Make up is a process of beautification. As the urbanization expands life style also undergoes change. Products that are related to life style, clothes of new design and beauty enhancing products have their own share in the market. The market of beauty enhancing products is increasing day by day. The number of people visiting beauty parlour due to the increasing sense of beauty is increasing. Accordingly the number of beauty parlours is also on the rise. Chetana’s Beauty Lounge & Education Foundation a new addition to this list.
A unisex saloon at Chetana’s Beauty Lounge was inaugurated on November 5 at Kankanady Gate of Kankanady Bypass Road. Chetana’s Education Foundation Academy has also begun along with the beauty lounge.
Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur, dean of A B Shetty Dental College Prof Dr N Sridhar Shetty, Padmanayana, Nagaraj and Tanvi of Vastram Boutique, Rameez of Shakz Fitness Club, actor and director Preetam M S and child artiste Arush were the guests on the occasion.
Chief of the organization, Chetana, who is a BA graduate in psychology, said, “We are serving in this sector for the past 27 years. I have got training in India and abroad. This parlour is begun to provide good service to the public. I am a makeup artiste and also cleared beauty cosmetologist jury’s examination in 2013 and served in the cosmetic treatment division. This parlour has begun to serve the brides and grooms, which was a long standing demand.”
Chetana also said that the main motto of the organization is to learn while teaching others. For the same reason academy is also begun. Various courses related to beauty industry like make up skin, micro blading, nail art, hair extension etc are available.
