STAR Gold Unveils its New Logo


Mumbai, Sep 13 (IANS): STAR Gold unveiled its riveting new brand logo with a fresh tag line "Karo Dil Ki", with World TV premier of actor Ajay Devgan starrer recent Bollywood blockbuster "Singham".

"'Karo Dil Ki' reflects the attitudes and aspirations of our viewers. As a brand we have always endeavoured to give our viewers what they want to watch not just what we want them to watch.

"The TV premiere of 'Singham' in September is itself a landmark screening of this over Rs.100 crore grosser, which is still running to packed houses," said Sanjay Gupta, chief operating officer of STAR India.

The screening of other current blockbusters like "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", "Bodyguard", "Rockstar" and "RA.One" would follow the "Singham" screening.

The refreshed STAR Gold will boast of six movie schedule every day thereby would become the only Hindi movie channel showcasing six movies a day, Gupta said in a statement.

"Premieres on Movie channels are an occasion for the entire family to get together. We have made this a lot more special with the World TV premiere of 'Singham' on STAR Gold, while its still running to packed houses in theatres across the country.

"With the new refreshed STAR Gold, the attempt is to establish the channel as the single screen theatre in the viewer's home. A one stop destination for the biggest stars and the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood," said Gupta.
