Deaths due to medical errors (all types included) only in the US are approximately 4L/annum, though they have very tight regulations/protocols in place making it pretty easy, for the victims beloved ones, to pin down somebody or something that caused the error and death; then, just imagine how much may be the number in the third world places?? That's why based on the speciality of the medical stream, the insurance premium charged to protect these professionals from medicolegal cases varies greatly! Many professionals even permanently lose their licence 😔 if found guilty!! Please note this is my very personal opinion based on my knowledge and perception on the subject; please always take your own informed decisions in consultation with the experts in the respective fields!!😞🙏🙏

Very sad.Parents have made one mistake. They should have taken immediately a lawyer who is specialed in medicine faculty.Instead of spending 9 lacs ,they should have longed from hospital or anaesthest who administered the anaesthesia.I am sure it is not they gave him thrice anaesthesia ,but had gone wrong during or first attempt wrong. When first it self instead of intubation tube inserting in lungs by mistake had inserted in stomach so he suffered oxgen lack .They must have then saw the fault and done correction,But too late for correction .Brain must have due to lack of oxygen got suffered and couldnt bring back?Thats what I think. What type of anaesthesia boy had ?general or spinal?Depends on it.Best is take a lawyer and fight for your rights Again it costs a lot of money. But your child will not come back .Spinal anaesthesia might be three times Injected three times .Thats possible ,

@Rita, in highly corrupt places it's next to impossible to get a medical negligence case pinned down and the concerned person held to task; IMO , I have my serious doubts of any specialist legal teams who can guarantee you a watertight and upright case against the erring medical professional??😔😞🙏

Anesthesia, though never mentioned prominently in any successful surgical procedure is a very intricate and important contribution in a surgical team; slightly more or less can maim or kill a person! you!! In this case; if it was proved to be the mistake of the anesthetist, the hospital should have sued the hospital; but very sadly and unfortunately, in third world countries it's almost impossible to pin down a medical mistake because of their cartelisation and heavy corruption unlike advanced countries; all in all in the third world only your favorite God's hands✋ can save! !

This is the case with hospitals which rarely come to light... Nowadays with the advent of health insurance age lot of loopholes are coming to public knowledge... But yet most are suppressed and it is a loss for the patients' families alone... Hospitals and law firms have been working against the graduation oaths rather more these days...
