Bengaluru, Jun 13: The next edition of Global Invest Karnataka is being organised at the Bengaluru Palace Grounds from February 12 to 14 in 2025.The State Cabinet, which held its meeting under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Vidhana Soudha on Thursday, has approved release of additional Rs 15 crore to the Industries Department.

The amount is in addition to Rs 75 crore released earlier.

Briefing media persons on the decisions taken by the State Cabinet, State Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H K Patil said the Global Invest Karnataka 2025 summit will require at least 10 to 15 months for making all arrangements.

The State Cabinet also approved a proposal for construction of a judicial court complex at Bhakal in Uttara Kannada district at a cost Rs 12 crore.

The judicial complex involves construction of four judicial court halls, Patil said.

The State Cabinet also approved purchase of 112 new buses for the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC).

Of the 112 buses are being purchased at a cost of Rs 46.48 crore.

Answering questions, the minister said the State Cabinet discussed the constitution of a 7th Pay Commission but as there was no official proposal, the matter was deferred without taking any discussion.

The State Cabinet did not take any decision on the implementation of the Caste Census as no official proposal had been placed.
