Mangalore: KMC Student Commits Suicide in Hostel

Mangalore, Nov 17: A dental student residing in a men's hostel in the city committed suicide here on Wednesday November 16 night.

The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Tarunraj Pal, a native of Shahid Nagar, Agra who was doing BDS in KMC. He committed suicide in his room by hanging.

Tarunraj was known to be an introvert and had no enmity with anyone. Some of his relatives who are doctors are working in KMC, but he did not confide anything in them, it is said. The reason behind his suicide is not yet known, informed police sources.

Tarunraj's body was shifted to KMC Hospital morgue.

City police registered a case on the basis of a complaint lodged by Dr Mohan C.
