Mangalore: Sandip Shetty Murder – Two Students among Accused

Mangalore, Nov 18: On Thursday November 17, the policemen produced seven persons, accused of getting involved with the murder of Sandip Shetty from Someshwar near here.  Nishant Shetty, a second year BBM student in a private college in the city, and Preetesh, an ITI student, are among the accused.

Choni alias Keshav, Bhushan, and Sandesh from Someshwar, Nishant Shetty from Ullalbail, Suraj from Madoor, Preetesh from Montugoli, and Netrananda alias Cheta who faces the charge of providing swords to the gang, were produced in the court by the police personnel of Ullal station.

A car, seven mobile phone sets, four swords, and two rods were recovered from the accused. It is gathered that Nishant Shetty and Preetesh, who are friends, were included in the gang at the last minute, as two persons who had earlier been included in the gang, could not be contacted by Choni at the last minute.
