Bhatkal: Two Injured in Omni-Bike Accident at Murdeshwar

Bhatkal, Nov 18: Two persons were injured in an accident that took place on Murdeshwar national highway here on Friday November 18 at around 10 pm.

The accident occured when a Maruti Omni plying from Murdeshwar to Manki collided with a bike.

The injured are Philip (23) from Sirsi and Nahida (30) from Manki. Philip who was riding the bike was critically injured. He was taken to RNS hospital in Murdeshwar and later shifted to Manipal.

Nahida was in the Omni. She was admitted to RNS hospital.

Saifulla who was driving the Omni told daijiworld that his family was going from Murdeshwar to to their house in Manki.

It is said that Philip was riding at a high speed.

Murdeshwar police registered a case in this regard.
