Kasargod: Employee of Publication Killed in Accident

Kasargod, Nov 19: Niyaz (22), son of Rahman from Seetangoly in the district, who was employed by ‘Uttara Desha’ publication, was killed in an accident on Friday November 18.

Niyaz was moving in his scooter for arranging transportation of bundles of the publication at around 3 pm on Friday, when his scooter hit a KSRTC bus moving ahead. Reportedly, the accident occurred as the driver of the KSRTC bus applied brakes all of a sudden. Niyaz was thrown to the road due to the impact of the collision, and died due to head injuries, it is learnt.

A case was registered in  the town police station. Investigation is under way.
