Mangalore, Nov 22: Confraternity Sunday was celebrated at Infant Mary parish, Katipalla, on Sunday November 20.

Mangalore diocesan Pastoral Institute assistant director Fr Vijay Machado presided over the festal Eucharistic celebration along with Katipalla parish priest Fr Alwyn D’Cunha on Sunday evening.

The members of the parish council conducted the liturgical service.

A procession of the Blessed Sacrament by parishioners with lighted candles, was held from the parish grounds at Kaikamba.

The choir sang Kannada hymns during the procession.

After the procession, Fr Vijay Machado delivered a meaningful homily in Kannada. It was themed on the parish community around the Eucharistic table.  Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament was held after the homily.

Fr Alwyn D’Cunha thanked the parishioners on the occasion.

The vespers will be held on Tuesday November 22 at 7.00 pm and the festal Eucharistic celebrations will be held on Wednesday November 23 at 10.15 am.
