Sullia, Nov 22: ‘Challenging Star’and Salwood’s popular hero, Toogudeepa Darshan, visited Surahmanya on Monday November 21 along with wife, Vijayalakshimi, son, Vinish, and brother. He paid obeisance to the presiding deity and performed puja on the occasion. He was received on behalf of the temple, by A Venkatraj, protocol officer of the temple.

Speaking to media persons who met him on the occasion, Darshan said everything in his life has settled now, and that he now feels composed and relieved. “We do not have any problems now. I am giving top priority to my career at present. ‘Sarathi’ in which I have acted, is doing well at the box office presently. My acting skills in ‘Boss’, ‘Bhupathi’, and ‘Arjun’ also have brought me lot of name, fame, and popularity. Shortly, another of my films, ‘Singari’, will be screened. I visit this temple with family to perform puja every year,” he said.

After performing special puja at Lord Subrahmanya temple, he visited Samputa Narasimha Swamy Mutt, where he was received and blessed by Sri Vidyaprasannateertha Swamiji, who also draped a shawl around him and presented fruits and Prasadam. Darshan also visited Abhaya Mahaganapati and Vanadurga temples in Subrahmanya, before returning to Bangalore.

While returning, he also visited Sri Somanatheshwari and Satyadevata Daivasthanas in Aladangadi. He was received by Dr Padmaprasad Ajila, trustee, Shivaprasad Ajila, and other local dignitaries.

    Only his wife can tell whether he has reformed or not. Visting temples and offerings will do no good to God, treat your wife well Darshan. That will bring more solace to you. Appeasing God is secondary.
