Udupi, Nov 25: ‘Swaroopa Shikshana Jagruti’ campaign was held at Rajangan of Sri Krishna Mutt on Thursday November 24.  The campaign was held under the joint aegis of Sri Krishna Mutt and Mangalore-based Gopadkar Education Centre.

Swami Laxmivarateerta of Shiroor Mutt inaugurated the campaign here on Thursday morning.
The district deputy director of public instructions Nagendra Madhyasta was the chief guest on the occasion.

He said that the education department will embark on ‘Operation 100’ in the district, to achieve 100 percent results in SSLC examinations that will be held in the academic year 2011–12.  “The campaign will be held in every block in this regard,” said Madhyasta.

“Meanwhile, 500 students of Class X will be chosen from various schools across the district and will be trained to face examinations with self confidence, to secure better grades,” added Madhyasta.

Sumadkar and Duggappa of Gopadkar Education Centre were present on the occasion.
