Udupi: Byndoor Gets its Own Web Portal

Udupi, Nov 28: B Jaganath Shetty, retired forest officer on Sunday November 27 launched byndoor.com, a web portal that introduces Byndoor to the world at function held at Byndoor Rotary auditorium.

Addressing the gathering, he said that today's rapidly developing world is founded on technology. "The people of Byndoor who work abroad are keen to know the things happening in their native city. It is indeed a praiseworthy effort which will help people from Byndoor across the world come together on a single platform," he opined.

Former MLA K Gopal Poojary, the chief guest of the programme, showered praises on the founder of the website B G Mohandas, and said, "Though B G stays abroad, he is forever thinking about his hometown and has showed his concern in a number of ways. His achievements have been outstanding, and his efforts in bringing Byndoor on the world stage through the online portal is indeed commendable."

Byndoor's rich history and the picturesque landscape will be put up in the website so as to create a name for the city. The dignitaries appreciated the efforts taken by Rashmi Chandra, owner of 'Click 'n' Edit' for beautifying the website.

U Chandrashekar Holla, Ahmed Basha Saheb, Fr Francis Castelino, Bojaraj Shetty, Dr Bhaskar Byndoor and other dignitaries were present.

BG Mohandas, the chief of Gulf Kannadiga and Byndoor.com proposed welcome address. Sudhakar P compered the event and Kamlesh Beskoor proposed the vote of thanks.

    First of all I would like to congratulate to the developer who has developed the website,www.byndoor.com.By developing this website you have made all Byndooreans proud.I am sure this one would help a lot of people to maintain good social relationship all across the world.We have to make a good use of it and utilize it very well and encourage more and more Byndooreans to join this site and maintain good relations.
