No Compromise on Pakistan's Sovereignty: Khar

Islamabad, Dec 4 (IANS): Pakistan decided not to participate in the Bonn conference on Afghanistan to protest a NATO attack that left 24 soldiers dead, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said, adding that the sovereignty and integrity of the country cannot be compromised at any cost.

Khar Saturday told a news channel that Islamabad took the stand for the sake of country's sovereignty.

The Nov 26 NATO air strike triggered outrage in the country, prompting Islamabad to stop the passage of NATO supplies through Pakistani territory and boycott the international conference that is to be held in Bonn Monday to discuss Afghanistan's future.
