Mangaluru, Jan 12: The seventh day of the Infant Jesus Novena at Bikarnakatte was a deeply moving occasion dedicated to little children, cantered on the theme, ‘Faith in Him, Hope for Tomorrow.’ The celebration emphasized the purity, innocence, and unwavering trust of children, reflecting the virtues of faith and hope in the Lord. The day commenced with a series of novena Masses, with nine services conducted in multiple languages to welcome and unite the diverse community of devotees. Each Mass offered an opportunity for worshippers to join together in prayer, seeking the intercession of Infant Jesus.

Following the 10.30 am Mass, a special adoration session was held, focusing on prayers for the well-being of children. As a gesture of fellowship and generosity, a meal was shared with all the devotees who attended. In the evening, an open-air Mass provided a unique and inspiring sight as children, dressed as Infant Jesus and St Thérèse, participated actively in the liturgy. They took on significant roles, conducting the liturgy with devotion and grace. A children’s choir, beautifully organized and performed by the young participants, added to the spiritual atmosphere of the celebration.

The day concluded with the recitation of the Infant Jesus Rosary at 6 pm. This cherished tradition brought the community together once more for a moment of peaceful reflection and devotion. The rosary served as a fitting conclusion, leaving the faithful with a renewed sense of spiritual unity and hope. The seventh day of the novena truly celebrated the blessings of faith, the promise of hope, and the beauty of community, all through the eyes and hearts of children.
