Mumbai, Jan 4: As the ‘Kharwas’ period is considered inauspicious, the Bachchan family has now decided to hold a pompous and lavish naming ceremony of their latest family member. The ‘Kharwas’ period is believed to end on January 15 (Makar Sankranthi).

The family had earlier admitted that they would settle in for a name that begins with the letter ‘A’. But Abhishek says that he still is not sure of the name. He said, “I haven’t figured the name yet. But I’ll lock on it soon. Aishwarya and I didn’t know whether we were going to have a boy or girl. So we didn’t jot down names.”

Speaking further about what his daughter may face in the future being born into a celebrity family, Abhishek says, “My child will grow up saying her parents are actors. But I don’t want her to use that as a crutch. She will have to work her way around things the way her parents and grandparents did.”

Also, the new father, discussed with the media a few plans he has in store for his daughter regarding her education be it in a boarding school or otherwise. He said, “Though it’s a fantastic experience. That kind of schooling provides great freedom and takes you out of the cocoon, literally,” he says, adding, “Eventually, it’s upto her, she can study whatever she wants and become who she’d like to. I’m fine as long as she’s happy.”
