Bhopal, Mar 3: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will chair a high-level meeting on Monday to assess investment proposals received during the Global Investment Summit (GIS) held on February 24-25 in Bhopal.
Chief secretary Anurag Jain, senior officials, and the managing director of MP Industrial Development Corporation will participate in the meeting at the secretariat office, where a roadmap for executing the proposed investments will be discussed.

The state government received investment proposals worth Rs 26.61 lac crore during GIS, promising over 21.40 lac employment opportunities. More than 85 MoUs were signed across various sectors, with industries and renewable energy attracting the highest investments, accounting for 54% of the total proposals.
Encouraged by the summit’s success, the government plans to organize more sector-specific and regional industrial conclaves. CM Yadav has emphasized the state’s rich mineral reserves as a key investment driver, with ambitious plans to increase mineral revenue fivefold.
Tourism has also emerged as a major focus area, drawing Rs 4,468 cr in proposals for cruise tourism, film production, hotels, resorts, water parks, golf courses, and infrastructure enhancement.
During the meeting, CM Yadav is expected to direct officials to fast-track the implementation of investment projects in line with the state’s newly approved industrial policy.
