Mumbai, Apr 22: The east coast of Mumbai, known for its bustling docks and international trade, was transformed into a glamorous scene on Tuesday with the launch of the song 'Money Money' from the much-anticipated movie Raid 2.

Held aboard the M2M ferry on the Eastern Waterfront, the event saw music producer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, often called the 'Bluetooth King of India,' take center stage. Singh, who is famous for his chart-topping tracks, shared some memorable behind-the-scenes moments from his Bollywood career.

Recalling his experience on the shoot of 'Aata Majhi Satakli' from Singham Returns (2014), Honey Singh revealed that he was four hours late to the set. Despite fearing a reprimand from Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn, Singh was surprised by the actor's calm demeanor. "Ajay was very understanding and instead of scolding me, we jammed over the song," he said.

Honey Singh made his big break in 2011 with his album International Villager, which became a massive hit. By 2014, he was one of Bollywood’s most sought-after music producers, with his tracks practically guaranteeing box office success. However, the artist faced a setback due to bipolar disorder, leading him to retreat from the limelight. He later opened up about this period in his Netflix documentary, Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous.

The song 'Money Money' marks Honey Singh’s second collaboration with Ajay Devgn after over a decade, with Raid 2 being a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster. The movie features Ajay in the role of an honest income tax officer, determined to eliminate illegal and corrupt financial dealings.

Raid 2 is slated for release in cinemas on May 1.
