Mumbai, Apr 27: Actor Shruti Haasan, known for her candid approach to life, recently opened up about her past relationships and her philosophy on life in an interview with Filmfare. Having previously dated actor Michael Corsale and visual artist Santanu Hazarika, Shruti made it clear that she has no regrets, stating, “I have zero regrets.”

When asked about things she wished she could redo, Shruti shared, “I’ve hurt some people, and I wish I didn’t do that. Everything else, I’m okay with. I was a clown, and it’s fine. Just some people that were very valuable to me, I hurt them by mistake, and now I spend my time saying sorry for it.”

On the topic of relationships, Shruti expressed that she wishes she wasn’t so influenced by them, but acknowledged the inevitability of learning from each one. “We all have that one dangerous ex, but apart from that, I close the chapter with no regrets. When people ask, ‘Which number boyfriend is this?’ – they don’t understand. For me, it’s not a number, it’s the number of times I failed at having the love I want,” she explained.

She further added that she never blames her partners when relationships end, believing that two people cannot change in the same way, at the same time. “I’ve always been loyal and good in relationships, and if I didn’t choose, I don’t owe anyone answers,” she said.

Shruti, who was last seen in successful 2023 films like Veera Simha Reddy, Waltair Veerayya, and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, is currently working on several exciting projects, including Coolie, Jana Nayagan, and Train. She will also reprise her role in Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.
