Chennai, May 3: Shooting for the much-anticipated Malayalam film I'm Game, starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, commenced on Saturday. The actor took to social media to share the exciting news, expressing his enthusiasm about the project.
"At long last we begin shooting our highly ambitious film, I’m Game! We’ve assembled a wonderful team of technicians and actors and have been eagerly waiting to get started. Wishing the entire team good luck and prayers for a fantastic first schedule!" Dulquer posted.
The film marks Dulquer's return to Malayalam cinema, and the excitement around it has been building steadily. Just a day before the shoot began, the makers announced the addition of celebrated Tamil director Mysskin to the team. Director Nahas Hidhayath shared his excitement on social media, saying, "We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the multifaceted, incredibly talented Mysskin Sir to the #ImGame team! Get ready for an exciting game ahead!"
In addition to Dulquer, the film also stars Antony Varghese, known for his breakout role in Angamalay Diaries. The recent title poster of the film, which features two hands—one holding a playing card and the other bandaged—has intrigued fans, adding an element of suspense to the storyline.
I’m Game is Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th film and is produced by him alongside Jom Verghese. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath, the screenplay is penned by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker. Cinematography is handled by Jimshi Khalid, with editing by Chaman Chakko and music by Jakes Bejoy. The film’s costume design is by Mashar Hamsa, and production design is managed by Deepak Parameshwaran.
