Mumbai, May 27: In a heartfelt revelation, actor Eijaz Khan opened up about his personal journey through pain, healing, and self-discovery, offering a glimpse into the emotional landscape that has shaped both his life and his art.
The actor, known for his roles in Tanu Weds Manu, Jawan, and City of Dreams, spoke about how his experiences — from a difficult childhood to navigating identity — have informed his understanding of acting and humanity.
“The deeper I try to understand acting, the more I realize that you have to understand the human condition,” Eijaz said. “Whether I wanted to or not, I’ve spent my whole life trying to make sense of my own pain — my childhood, my injuries, my evolution.”
Now, he’s turning his focus toward giving back.
“That’s also why I want to be a producer,” he said. “I wish there had been more people holding space for me when I was starting out. Now it’s my turn to hold that space for others — to pay it forward.”
Reflecting on his rise from humble beginnings, the former Bigg Boss contestant emphasized the uniqueness of every individual’s journey:
“You can't compare yourself with others. Our starting lines are different. When I think about where I started and where I’ve come, that awareness grounds me. That gives me zamir — my conscience. This industry always takes an equal pound of flesh.”
Eijaz also spoke about how he has learned to face life’s challenges with resilience and faith.
“Honestly, my life has been a masterclass in challenges. The injuries, the childhood, the inner storms—I’ve seen worse than the chaos of competition. That doesn’t shake me anymore. I’m a million percent grounded in my faith. I finish my namaz, and I sleep in peace. That’s my anchor.”
He acknowledged the importance of focusing on personal well-being, something he once neglected.
“Earlier, I didn’t invest in my health — physically, financially, spiritually. But now I do. I realized I was pouring my energy into everything but my own healing. Even when I feel anger, I take it as a sign of where I still need to heal.”
Now in a phase of renewal and reflection, the actor is focused on being present and living authentically:
“At this stage in my life, I just want to live fully in the present. In my truth. In my dignity. With my whole self.”
Having successfully transitioned from television to film and digital platforms, Eijaz Khan continues to evolve — not just as an actor, but as a person committed to growth, compassion, and purpose.
