Tragic end: Final-year college student dies by suicide in Vile Parle

Mumbai, Jun 20: In a deeply saddening incident, a 21-year-old final-year student from a reputed college in Vile Parle (East) tragically died by suicide on Thursday after reportedly jumping from the third floor of the college building. The young woman, a resident of Nalasopara, was nearing the completion of her academic journey when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Mumbai Police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in connection with the case. Initial investigations revealed no evidence of foul play, and no suicide note was recovered either from the scene or from the student’s belongings.

Authorities are continuing their probe to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident. Meanwhile, the college community has been left in shock and mourning over the untimely loss.
