Mumbai witnesses historic Kashi Vishwanath Maha Ganga Aarti for Ganpati Bappa

Mumbai, Aug 19: For the first time in the history of Mumbai, the grand Kashi Vishwanath Maha Ganga Aarti was performed for Kalina Manipada’cha Maharaja Ganpati Bappa on the occasion of the mandal’s 25th Silver Jubilee celebrations.

A team of Pandits from Kashi Vishwanath specially arrived in Mumbai to conduct the sacred ritual, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for devotees. The event drew an overwhelming crowd of nearly 2,900 devotees, who witnessed the spectacular sight with deep devotion and emotion.

Tears of joy and happiness flowed as devotees experienced the divine atmosphere of Kashi Ganga Aarti in Mumbai. Many described it as an unforgettable spiritual moment that will be etched in the history of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, one of the organisers, Samth Kotyan Kalina, said, “This is the first mandal to offer such a spectacular offering to Lord Ganpati Bappa. People cried with joy as they experienced the blessings of Kashi Ganga right here in Mumbai. This will remain the most iconic day in the history of Ganeshotsav for years to come.”

The unique celebration not only marked a milestone in Mumbai’s Ganesh Chaturthi festivities but also symbolised the spiritual bond between Kashi and Mumbai, leaving devotees blessed with divine grace.
