Mumbai, Oct 31: Entertainment lovers have much to look forward to this week, as a fresh lineup of movies and web series hits OTT platforms and theatres between October 31 and November 7. From intense thrillers and emotional dramas to real-life stories and fantasy adventures, the upcoming releases promise to keep viewers glued to their screens.

Korean star Ji Chang-wook leads The Manipulated, premiering on Disney+ on November 5. The series follows the life of an ordinary delivery man whose world turns upside down after a single phone call pulls him into a dangerous conspiracy. On Netflix, In Waves and War offers an emotional journey through the lives of three Navy SEALs healing from the traumas of war through unconventional therapy methods.

Prime Video’s Nice to Not Meet You, releasing November 3, presents a refreshing romantic comedy where a frustrated actor and a fierce journalist find themselves tangled in a love-hate relationship that blurs the line between conflict and connection. Meanwhile, Heweliusz, based on a real ferry tragedy in Poland, explores the pain, loss, and resilience of survivors trying to rebuild their lives.

Netflix’s Just Alice follows a woman living two contrasting lives — married to a writer and a former priest. Set in Colombia, it’s a story of love, deceit, and identity. In theatres, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s Vrusshabha releases on November 6. The grand fantasy-action film delves into revenge, destiny, and rebirth, offering a visual spectacle for moviegoers.

On November 7, Haq, starring Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar, brings to the screen a powerful courtroom drama inspired by the Shah Bano case. It sheds light on justice, gender equality, and one woman’s relentless pursuit of truth. The same day, Jatadhara releases, blending myth and mystery with gripping action, starring Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha.

Netflix’s Baramulla, set in Kashmir, follows DSP Ridwaan Sayyed (Manav Kaul) as he investigates a series of child disappearances, uncovering dark secrets along the way. Adding to the week’s variety, Death by Lightning revisits the 1881 assassination of U.S. President James Garfield in a historical true-crime series created by the minds behind Game of Thrones.

With an array of compelling stories, rich performances, and powerful narratives, this week promises a cinematic experience that blends emotion, suspense, and inspiration — both on OTT platforms and the silver screen.
