First look of ‘Parimala & Co’ unveiled, promises family thriller with comic touch

Chennai, May 2: The makers of director Pandiraaj’s upcoming film Parimala & Co have unveiled the film’s first look, sparking excitement among fans and cinema enthusiasts.

Sharing the poster on his X account, Pandiraaj wrote, “From my heart to your home,” along with a heart symbol, marking the reveal of his 12th directorial venture.

The filmmaker, whose previous hit Thalaivan Thalaivi starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen was well received, is now returning with a blend of thriller and comedy elements.

Industry sources reveal that Parimala & Co revolves around a family-driven storyline, exploring the unique personalities of its members and the challenges they face together. The narrative reportedly begins in Chennai before moving to Coimbatore and Palacode as the story unfolds.

The film features veteran actors Jayaram and Urvashi in lead roles, supported by Santhosh Sobhan and Sanchana Krishnamoorthy in key characters.

Comedian Sandy and Ananthika Sanalkumar will appear as a pair, while popular comedian Yogi Babu plays an extended role throughout the film.

Adding to the ensemble, filmmaker Mysskin will be seen portraying a police officer, bringing another notable presence to the cast.

The project is backed by Lyca Productions, Tamilkumaran Productions, and Pasanga Productions. Sources indicate that shooting has been completed and post-production work is progressing rapidly, with the film expected to hit theatres soon.
