Mumbai, May 7: As Mother’s Day approaches, television actors Nia Sharma and Ankita Lokhande opened up about the deep influence their mothers have had on their lives, crediting them for their strength, confidence, and emotional support.

Nia Sharma, who is currently appearing on Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, shared that the resilience and confidence she carries today come directly from watching her mother face life’s challenges with courage and determination.

Reflecting on her bond with her mother, Nia recalled a memorable family trip where they temporarily lost track of her during a hop-on hop-off bus tour, only to later discover her calmly sitting on the roof capturing videos of the city while the family searched anxiously for her. She described the moment as a perfect example of her mother’s ability to turn chaos into cherished memories.

The actress also revealed that this year felt especially meaningful because she had the opportunity to shoot alongside her mother on Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, where they cooked together on screen. She said sharing her professional world with her mother was an emotional and unforgettable experience.

Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande spoke warmly about being fortunate to have the love and guidance of both her mother and her mother-in-law. She described them as the two pillars of her life, saying one gave her life while the other welcomed her into a new family with unconditional affection and support.

Ankita expressed gratitude for the blessings, prayers, and encouragement she receives from both women and said their happiness remains her greatest priority. She added that having both maternal figures in her life has made her journey even more meaningful.
The actress also shared that being able to celebrate Mother’s Day while working on a show close to her heart made the occasion even more special.

Mother’s Day this year will be celebrated on May 8.
