Mangaluru: Srinivas University's NSS unit of BCom Dept holds environment cleanliness drive

Mangaluru, Jun 8: The NSS unit of the BCom Department, Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce, organised an environment cleanliness drive on the occasion of World Environment Day in collaboration with Awake Kudla, Mangaluru, on June 5 at the Pandeshwara Railway Track area.

All NSS volunteers, along with faculty members, actively participated in cleaning the surroundings and spreading awareness about environmental cleanliness. The activity highlighted the importance of maintaining clean public spaces and promoting sustainable living.

After the session, breakfast was provided to all participating students. The programme was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation and a strong spirit of community service

This activity was conducted under the guidance of Dr Venkatesh S Amin, dean Of IMC, Prof Sharmila S Shetty, HoD of BCom, Prof Yashashwi A. Ail course coordinator of ACCA and Prof Akshatha Y, NSS coordinator. The university has extended special thanks to all the faculty of BCom department for their support and participation.
