Los Angeles, Sep 29: Actor Dylan Sprouse and model Barbara Palvin have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

The couple announced the birth on social media on September 28, sharing a picture of themselves with their newborn daughter while watching the Los Angeles Dodgers' game against the San Francisco Giants on television. All three were dressed in Dodgers jerseys.

Keeping the announcement brief, Sprouse and Palvin captioned the post, "We took Labor Day literally this year," appearing to suggest that their daughter was born on September 7, which was Labor Day in the United States.

The couple have not yet revealed their daughter's name.

Sprouse and Palvin announced that they were expecting their first child in May while attending the Cannes Film Festival, where Palvin showed off her baby bump on the red carpet with her husband.

In July, the couple revealed that they were expecting a girl during the debut episode of Sprouse's podcast, Wildmen. Sprouse said they had been referring to the baby as "principessa", meaning princess in Italian, and expressed his excitement about becoming a father to a daughter.

The couple first met in 2017 and began dating the following year. They got engaged in 2022 and married in July 2023 in Hungary, Palvin's home country. Their wedding was held on her parents' property.

The birth of their daughter marks a new chapter for the couple, who largely kept their pregnancy journey private while sharing selected updates with their fans.

Sprouse is best known for playing Zack Martin alongside his twin brother Cole Sprouse in Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. He has continued his acting career and recently launched the Wildmen podcast.

Palvin is a Victoria's Secret model who has also featured in numerous international fashion campaigns.

While the couple have shared a photograph from their first days as parents, they have not disclosed their daughter's name or clearly shown her face.
