Varun Kamath and Moulya of Christ King High School qualify for state-level chess tournament

Karkala, Oct 9: Two students of Christ King English Medium High School, Karkala, have secured first place in their respective categories at the Udupi district-level chess tournament for high school boys and girls, earning qualification for the state-level competition.

The tournament was organised by the School Education Department, Government of Karnataka, and the Udupi Zilla Panchayat at Karnataka Public School, Uppunda.

Moulya, a class 9 student, and Varun Kamath, a class 10 student, are the two achievers who will represent the district at the state level. Notably, Varun Kamath has qualified for the state-level chess tournament for the third time, marking another significant achievement in his chess journey.
