Udupi: Leena Roche Elected President of District Catholic Women Council

Media Release

Udupi, May 25: Leena Roche, Brahmavar, has been unanimously elected as the first president of the newly-formed district Catholic council for women for the period 2012, 13.

Earlier she served as the president of the Catholic council for women of Mangalore diocese for a period of three years and has rendered yeomen service to the society.

Other office bearers include Cynthia Dias and Irene Pereira, vice-presidents, Veronica Saldanha, secretary, Cynthia D'Souza, joint secretary, Veera Pinto, treasurer, and Lydwin Pinto, news bulletin in-charge.
