Mangalore, Jun 9: Devappa (42), a resident of Faisalnagar was electrocuted here on Friday June 8 morning. He died on the spot.
The incident took place when he was trying to connect the TV plug in his house.
Devappa was employed as a manager in a hotel in the city. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
Local Congress leaders in Faisalnagar alleged that electricity in the area was fluctuating.
