Kasargod: Shobha Somappa is President of Manjeshwar Block Congress

Kasargod, Jun 12: Shobha Somappa, former vice-president of Minja Gram Panchayat (GP) was elected as president of Manjeshwar block Congress committee on Monday June 11.

Anita Teacher, president, state women Congress executive committee inaugurated the general body meeting held at Kumbla on Monday June 11.

Kumbla block Congress president Sanjeev Rai, District Congress Committee (DCC) member Manjunath Alva, district women's Congress secretary Jayasree, and others were present on the dais.

Other office-bearers are Hemavati, Geeta Loknath Shetty and Vani Shetty Varkady (vice-presidents), Aruna M Alva and Nafisat Misriya (secretaries), Mamata Divakar (treasurer), Prashanti and Juliana D'Souza (joint secretaries), Theresa Pinto, Umavati Roy Varkady, Yashoda Koliyoor, Shamshad Shukoor, Sunita Vasant Varkady, Avita Bhaskar, Theresa D'Souza, Jayasree Kulal and Geeta Puttige (executive committee members).
