London, Jul 10 (IANS): Singer Paula Abdul says she is still friends with Simon Cowell despite the fact that he fired her from the judging panel of the US version of "The X Factor".

"Believe it or not, Simon and I are friends. It's a warped kind of thing," contactmusic.com quoted Paula as saying.
