Bantwal, Jul 15: Having served as a one-stop hub in electronic appliances for more than 25 years in Mumbai, Malaika Group opened its new showroom near BC Road bypass in Gajana center here on July 14.
 
Malaika Appliances Pvt Ltd and Malaika Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society Limited were blessed by Fr Anil Canute D’Mello from Infant Jesus Church in Modankap.

















































 

B Dinesh Bhandary, municipal president inaugrated Malaika Appliances and Menala Ashwanikumar Rai, president of lawyers' association inaugrated the Co-operative.
 
Gilbert Baptist, director of Malaika group welcomed the gathering. In his introductory remarks, Baptist who hails from Shambur in Panemangalore said that his dream of setting up Malaika group in his hometown had come true. He said Malaika group has its own ‘Yosoma' brand which produces induction cooker, water purifier, mixer grinders and other appliances at reasonable prices. The brand has attracted customers in large numbers, he added.

T3 Developers managing director V P Lobo was the guest of honour.
 
Malaika group had set up its branch in Pio Mall, Mangalore a year ago.
 
B Ramachandra Rao, well-known teacher compered the programme and Juliet D'souza proposed the vote of thanks.
 
Marceline Baptist, director, Felix Veigas, senior manager, Elton Veigas, Erica Veigas welcomed the guests with bouquets.
 
U Devadiga, Dharmapal, Vishvanath U Maada, Gopalkrishna K, Arun Mendes, young enterprenuer, Felix A D'Souza Taccode, Stevan D'souza Dheradka, Peter Jerald Rodrigues among others were present.
