Tom Hardy Challenges Hayemaker to Boxing Match

London, Aug 1 (IANS): Actor Tom Hardy has agreed to fight boxer David Haye, also known as Hayemaker in the ring, as long as the money raised by the match goes to charity.

The 34-year-old actor, who played a cage fighter in 2011 movie, "Warrior" wants the money to go to charitable trusts like Heroes, the Prince's Trust, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Bowel Cancer Research and homeless charity FLACK, reports thesun.co.uk.

"''I've never fought a professional heavyweight, it'll be an experience. I would obviously prefer my first professional fight to be against someone in my weight category but hey-ho!," Hardy said.

Hardy is busy shooting a TV documentary in Congo,Africa but plans on taking up the match as soon as he is back.

"Hardy v Hayemaker? No problem. Let me take my make-up off first. I'll fight him as soon as I get back from the Congo with my mates if he wants," he said.
