UAE, EU Discuss Economic Cooperation


Dubai, Dec 9 (IANS/WAM): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and European Union (EU) have discussed prospects of promoting bilateral economic cooperation.

The meet was held Saturday between UAE's Minister for Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri and 18 EU ambassadors.

Al Mansouri told the ambassadors that the UAE economic policy would focus on promoting four key sectors of potential growth: Tourism, industry, innovation and knowledge-based economy.

The minister said these four sectors would provide viable drivers for sustainable economic growth.
