They say better late than never. It will take some time to come out of it as it is the curse of 20 to 30 years. It requires rehabilitation of human mind and routine to stop it forever. Time we stop using plastic as it is the devil of nature.

Now i made a habit of carrying few bags in my car. Now all grocery stores, bakery, garment store do not give plastic bags. BUT today i had been to WINE GATE I was surprised they gave me a plastic bag even though they saw me i was carrying a bag. It was same in Hi-spirits. They even told me that they didnt get a circular...do we have separate laws for wine stores???

But one thing i dont understand about mangalore is why people trouble the general public by marching on the roads. Muslim rally, Hindu rally, christian rally, rss rally, plastic bags rally, ... for each and everything people go for rallies and disturb the public. Why not make rallies and protests in a ground or in their campus. Police and the district administration must act on this. Why dont

Hats off students, start charging for plastic bags, people will get over it and go back to using cloth or canvas bags, just like in olden days. recycle, recycle, recycle....that is the key.
