London, Jan 2 (IANS): Actor Colin Firth's wife Livia Giuggioli says she does not throw away clothes that need a little stitching. She prefers to mend them for further use.
Giuggioli accepts she does not throw away things, reports thesun.co.uk.
"With my kids' clothes, we do a lot of hand-me-downs with friends," said Livia, who is a well-known Italian film producer.
"I mend. I know often it is easier to throw away a sock with a hole and buy a new one than mend it, but I don't do that," she added.
The couple has two sons - Luca, 11, and Matteo, 9.
