Mysore, Sep 8: The Nativity of Our Lady was celebrated by the Mysore Konkani members under the banner of Konkani Christian Association on September 8 at St Joseph's Cathedral, Mysore in a grand manner.

The Monthi Fest was made meaningful by offering the flowers brought from many gardens by the young and old ones by singing"Sokkod Sangata Mellyam".

The members of KCA family took part in the holy Eucharistic mass celebrated by Fr Desmond Rebello, Fr Joe Tauro and Fr Alfred Mendoca. Around 750 Konkani members came together as one family and celebrated the Monthi Fest and Family Day and then together shared the joy of the new harvest by drinking "vorn".

President Gracian Rodrigues wished all the members of the association and secretary John William D'Souza extended his gratitude to all those worked for the success of the programme.
