Bangalore, Sep 17: The members of Mudla Konkani Catholic Association, Kalyannagar celebrated the Monti-Fest on September 7

at the KROSS Hall, D Costa Layout, Bangalore with joy and enthusiasm.   The Konkani speaking families from different parts of Bangalore gathered at 4:30 pm.
 
The showering of flowers by the children and the adults as an offering to Infant Mary to commemorate her birthday; whilst the choir simultaneously sang the hymn   "Sakkad Sangatha Melyam”  and "Morieak Hogolxieam".

Fr Faustine Lucas Lobo, director –PMS, Fr Peter Branks, director KROSS and Fr Walter from Vincent De Pallotti Church offered the Holy Mass.

A lucky dip draw for the members, which is sponsored by Theresa Pais and Fly and followed by a skit composed and directed by

Linet Fernades and Shali Pais on theme of “The Birth of Mother Mary” which was well received by the audience.

All the youth entertained the audiences with their brilliant acts.        
 
The Moodla also announced the grand opening of the band "Winston Wallows",  introduced by Dolphy Pinto- internal Auditor from

MKCK and officially inaugurated by Fr. Walter, and the band beat the gathering to an eventful cadences .. There were as many 9 Konkani songs sung by Godwin Martis, Voilet Dias and Deepti Martis, Oswin Martis and Dolphy Pinto.
 
Dinner was graced by the members of the Moodla community, and was served with 5 vegetarian dishes by Asha Caterers, Banaswadi.

The vote of thanks was given by Dolphy Pinto, expressed his gratitude and thanked everyone who directly or indirectly supported to make the event a grand success. He also gratefully expressed special thanks to the people who worked behind the screen for days to make the event a huge success.
