Bangalore, Sep 17: Monti Fest was celebrated at Christa Prabhalaya Church, Jayanagara, Bangalore on September 8th.
Konkani Samudai Jayanagar has organized the whole event with the help of donors and faithful.
At 3:30 pm, the program started with showering of flowers followed by Konkani Mass which was celebrated by Fr. William Miranda
After the mass blessed new corn and sugarcanes were distributed to all the faithful who attended the mass.
Later, get-together was organized by Konkani Samudai. Cultural program was arranged and during the program teachers who were present were felicitated on the occasion of teachers day which was celebrated on 5th Sep.
The program was concluded with dinner and blessed corn with sweets .
