Mangalore: District Muslim Jamat council holds conference

Mangalore, Dec 1: The Dakshina Kannada district committee of Karnataka Muslim Jamat council held a conference of district Jamat representatives at Town Hall here on Saturday, November 30.

P M Abbas Musliyar, president of Karnataka Sunni Coordination committee led the prayers.

P M Ibrahim Musliyar, Qazi of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Hassan and Chikmagalur districts who inaugurated the conference said if Ulamas are good the community can live in harmony.  Ulamas are held in high esteem in the community and are respected. Jamat group does not belong to a party. It is a group that struggles for the development of the community.  He said that Jamat can bring about unity in the community.

Sayyed Fazul Koyamma Tanjal Madani Al Bukhari Koorath, state committee president of Karnataka Muslim Jamat council presided over the programme.

Abusuf H I Ibrahim Madani, chief secretary of state committee, Jamat Council; M S M Abdul Rashid Sakhafi Zaini Kamil, vice president of All India SSF committee; M Abdul Hameed Musliyar Mani, Ulama vice president of state Iyyatul Ulama; Yenapoya Abdul Kunhi, dean of Yenapoya group of institutes; U S Hamza, president of Ullal Sayyed Madani Darga; Usman Mithur, president of Huda Foundation, Gulab Mohammed Udupi, member of Jamat state committee and Sayyed Miran Sahib Kadaba, secretary were present.

A A Haider Partippadi, district president of Karnataka Muslim Jamat council welcomed.  Chief secretary S Aboobacker Sajipa thanked.  Ashraf Kinara Kudroli conducted the programme.
