Mangalore: Man found dead at Bunder Old Port, murder suspected

Mangalore, Dec 3: In a suspected case of murder, the body of a man was found at Bunder Old Port here on Tuesday December 3.

The deceased has been identified as Haneef (45), a residnet of Kotepura, Ullal.

The body was found outside a shop named Shree Devi Marine Agencies, located opposite to the area between the jetty and Kasaba Bengre where boats are docked.

Haneef had head injuries and preliminary investigations suggested that he might have been murdered.

Haneef used to work in boats and locals said that he was often seen wandering around in the area drunk.

Pandeshwar police arrived at the spot and conducted investigations.
