    Ella OK....

But why there is no mention about Tulu language? Why can't the organizers include Tulu also in the nudisiri? Let us agree that Tulunadu people have accepted Kannada equally. But do they organize such a big event for Tulu language to propagate the importance of Tulu? Why can't they give same importance to Tulu?

I am proud Kannadiga. I don't speak Tulu. But I respect Tulu as much as Kannada. But I feel Tulu is being overlooked by Tuluvas. Common friends, you are the guardians of your language. Let us not let our language to get extinguished.

In Bangalore, if someone asks me address/road in English I give him reply in Kannada. If he fails to understand Kannada, only then I reply in English. As per my knowledge nearly 85% people in Bangalore understand Kannada. If we ignore our language, they also ignore. Fault is with us. Whenever I go to ATM, I Kannada if the option is available. When I call any telephone/others customer care, speak in only Kannada. I know I have my responsibility of saving, growing, prospering Kannada.
