Mumbai: Annual day held at Ramakrishna Academy School

Mumbai, Feb 9: Ramakrishna Academy School functioning under the Vidhyaraja Charitable Trust (VCT), Sarswathi Educational Foundation in Panwel Harigrama observed their annual day and founders day recently.

M Narendra was chief guest at the programme held at Shanthikunj Sevashrama and Ramkrishna Academy premises. On this occasion he also paid respects to Late Vaman R Kamath.

He said that 'Selfless service and social reforms characteristics of the institution will lead it development'.  He also advised youth to seek knowledge from the institution and increase prestige of the institution.

"With the help of IT companies’ development of education institutions is guaranteed in the future for the students," he added.

Raghunath Kamath son of Late Vaman Kamath was also honored  during this occasion.

L&T former director J Nayak, K Kishori, N Krishnan of HDFC, Mohan Shenoy of Kotak Bankwere present and S Mallik introduced the functions of the institution.

President NN VCT welcomed, founder president DM Sukthankar spoke on this occasion.

School teachers compered  the programme. Academy working president L Adiga introduced the guests. Kamalaksha Saraf of Wadela Ganeshothsava Committee, Convener of Rammandir Umesh Pai, N D Prabhu, NS Kamath, UC Bhat, VC Shenoy, Venkatesh Prabhu, Praveen D Kamath, Shantharam Bhat, Pandya Pai, Dr S G Bhat and others were present.
