India needs good leader in politics and business: Tata

Media Release

Manipal, Feb 11 : Ratan N. Tata, Chairman Emeritus, TATA Group of companies interacted with students of TAPMI, Manipal on diverse topics. He showed a lot of optimism in the future business scenario in the country and emphasized the need for strong leadership, both in business and in political spectrum.

When asked about the brain drain from India, Tata reflected that if adequate facilities and opportunities are made available in our country, we can go a long way in tackling the issue.

When quizzed on the decision to withdraw from the banking sector, Tata explained to the students that the conditions put forth by the regulators to operate in the banking sector created a conflict with the existing way of functioning of the TATA Group.

Tata proudly explained the strong cultural values that Tata group is known for, stressing the importance of serving the society with responsibility. Thus, he was sceptical about the law that mandates companies to undertake CSR activities and believes that CSR should come naturally to all corporates rather than by a mandate from the State.

Tata also shared the influence J R D Tata had on him, which moulded him to the leader he is today. The three major aspects JRD Tata taught him were to be low key, to be driven by values and not be motivated by personal greed.

When a student debated on the lack of adequate encouragement for women entrepreneurs in India as compared to the Western countries, he disagreed saying that women’s position in India is equally good as elsewhere and specifically cited the example of the country having had a woman Prime Minister.

He also exuberated optimism stating that bureaucracy in India is not something that one should to be discouraged by but one should learn to tackle effectively.

His specific advice to the budding managers was to aspire to make a difference in the world rather than strive just for personal advancement and glorification. This, in his opinion, is the key to becoming a successful manager.

    Dear KRPrabhuji, Bangalore,

An intruder comes to my home and murder. Why?!
I am not an enemy of anybody and nobody will come to my house to murder unless he or she is involved in bad-ways or murder.
    Love wins the enemy.

Concerning to LOC: Should have constructive negotiations. This is a national issue and not a state issue.
The soldiers are for national security and not for massacring its own citizens.
Murderer Modi used his Chief Ministerial Power of the State to subjugate minorities in Gujarat two times and not one time.

    1) At the very first Mr. Modi oppressed and allowed Guajarati’s to commit atrocities against Christians in Gujarat.
    2) Modi massacred more than 2002 in the year 2002.
    3) He eliminated all the evidences whichever against him and RSS is his close adviser.
    4) See how now Aseemanand news exposure is suppressed by the fundoos. Is there any news now?!
    5) Modi is responsible for the encounters to eliminate those of his political rivals in Gujarat.

WE DON'T NEED A MURDERER PRIME MINISTER WHO MURDERERS CITIZENS OF OUR COUNTRY.

THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUTH.
Matthew 26:52 …..for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

few reason's why i hate Modi
    1) he is the reason for Gujurat roit's where minorities where killed or started living in fear,
    2) where he started fake story of development by not giving enough press freedom
    3) no lokayukta through out his ruling, shows he don't want any opponent
    4) Sidelined previously kheshu bai patel, now Advani, they deserve more chances than him
    5) r.s.s back ground which is threat ever for minorities, and its encouragement for communal forces which can make life hell for minorities
    6) no proper agenda from his party ...except blaming the opposition

India needs good leader in politics and business to serve the less fortunate and not to deprive them to develop the industrialists.
One can fool all the people some time, and some people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

If people the leader whom they love/desire, though from your angle he may be a murderer.Murder is not always undesirable. Our brave jawans in the LOC will murder an intruder..god blesses him, likewise a preson who intrudes/barges into your house wil ill motives/to finish you then you too have no chice and have act for self defense which may result in murder.Like so many occasions are where murder is inevitable to safeguard oneself.Every thing comes next.

Ratan Tata is a great man, Why blame only the politicians for the bad conditions in our country? These worthies and their mentality are also responsible. Indian Universities are unable to pay their employees. Ratan Tata has donated $50 million to Harvard Business School. USA. American Universities who are already cash rich. Such donations can benefit the poor students of our country.
Donation...It’s really great. But who is coming forward to donate for the Indian schools?

We can make a world of difference with a rapid revolution in automobiles.
Why not we can use the millions of tons of dead weight of commuters and goods on wheels as a free pushing energy (instead of carrying as them infants and moving it as a huge burden, with expensive fuel) to save more than 70% of fuel?
The new concept also can eradicate unhealthy air pollution and peace disturbing sound pollution, reduce costs and increase the capacities of vehicles to meet the rapidly increasing transport demand.
We can avoid CAD and have a surplus, stop the subsidies and achieve comfortable growth, increase foreign exchange reserves, create enormous job opportunities and reduce poverty.
If supported, we can have an excellent solution for our severe problems with unbelievable benefits.
