Kasargod: Snehalaya rehabilation centre inaugurated at Pavoor

Kasargod, March 17: The newly built  rehabilitation centre of Snehalaya for the destitute people at Pavoor Bachalike was inaugurated by Fateh Mohammed Puttige of Mangalore Talent Research Foundation on Sunday, March 17.

Shri Yogananda Saraswati Swamy of Shree Nithyananda Yogashrama of Uppala  Kondevoor, chief guest at the programme opined that everybody should come forward to uphold human values regardless of religion, caste or creed. He said that Snehalaya is an example in that direction.

Fr Andrew Leo D' Souza of Pakshikere St Jude Theodose Church who presided over the programme also spoke on the occasion.

Fr Vincent D' Souza of Bela Mother of Sorrows Church delivered the message.

Mangalore MLA J R Lobo, Placida C Rego, CPM Manjeshwar area secretary K R Jayananda, Pavooru Holy Cross Church's Fr Aloysius Santiago, Fr Nelson Olivera of Talapady Mariashrama Church, Fr Joseph Vaniantaram, director of Thokottu Devine Prayer Center; Mohammed Hashim, director
of Mangalore PTC, Krishna, Lawyer M S D' Souza, M P Noronha, former Manjeshwar Grama Panchayat president Harishchandra, Manjeshwar Press Club secretary Arif Manjeshwara, Udyavara Srikshetra's Raja Belchappada, Navin Monteiro, Brother M J Stephan, PDP state management
committee member M S Bashir Mohammed, Alban Menezes, ICYM director Fr Ronald D' Souza, Konkani Academy president Roy Castelino and others were present.

Snehalaya manager Joseph Crasta welcomed the gathering. Trustee Olivera K L read the report.
